Adeline L. Walters

Greenwood Prairie in Plainview. Adeline was born October 23, 1923 in Winona County to Jacob and Lillian (Davener) Waechter. She attended Country School and graduated from St. Charles High School. On June 26, 1941 she married Freddie Walters in rural Eyota. They farmed in Quincy Township retiring in 1985 and moving to Plainview. They actively continued with their Shaklee distributorship. Adeline enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards and shopping. Her husband Freddie died January 12, 1987. Survivors include her children; Larry Walters of Plainview, Joanne (Bob) Schleck of Plainview and Shelly Holst of St. Charles: 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Ione Evans of Faribault. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie, 1 son, Wayne, 1 granddaughter, Stephanie, 1 brother and 1 sister. Funeral service is Wednesday, June 10, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview with Rev. John Fuchs officiating. Burial is at the Evergreen Cemetery, Dover. Visitation is Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
