Amara Jo Schoonover, infant daughter of Nicole Stevenson and
Montanna Schoonover of Plainview passed away peacefully on
Sunday, December 9, 2018 at home. Amara Jo was born October 30,
2018 in Rochester. She is survived by her parents, Nicole and
Montanna; maternal grandparents, Randy Bartsh and Jo Stevenson of
Plainview; great grandparents, Dennis & Sharon Hanson of Rochester,
Shirley Stevenson of Rochester and Lyle and Shirley Bartsh of
Plainview; paternal grandparents, Amy & Troy Buchanan of Spring
Valley, James Schoonover of Elysian; great-grandparents, Larry &
Susan Meek of Texas, Hilton & Lorna Schoonover of Elysian and
Clarence Buchanan of Spring Valley. She was preceded in death by
her maternal grandfather, Greg Stevenson; great-grandfather, Hollis
Stevenson and paternal great-grandmother, Geraldine Buchanan.
Funeral service is Saturday, December 15, 11:00 a.m. at Church of
Christ in Plainview with Pastor Chuck Coggins officiating. Burial is at
Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester. Visitation is Friday, 5-7
p.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and one hour prior to
the service at the church on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
