Ann Brehmer

Ann Marie Brehmer, age 80 of Plainview, passed away on January 22, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital - Methodist Campus.

Ann was born on February 24, 1945, to Andrew and Lillian (Kubicek) Robertson. Ann went to school in a one room country school until 8th grade. Then she went to Owatonna High School. Ann had 2 children from a previous marriage, Sandra and Michael. While living in Owatonna, Ann worked for many years at Owatonna Tool Company. She later met and married Jon Brehmer of Plainview, MN. After getting married, they made their home in Plainview. To this union one son, Brent, was added. Ann worked at the Rochester State Hospital until its closing. Then she went to work at St. Mary's Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2007. Ann and Jon enjoyed many winters in Arizona and traveling to Texas for 13 years to visit Sandra and family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann was a wonderful mother and a great cook!

Ann is survived by her husband Jon; sons Michael and Brent; son-in-law Todd Wohlers; grandchildren Dustin Mussell (Wendy Schneider), Joshua (Moriah) Wohlers, Alexis (Nate) Wroblewski; Benjamin Brehmer; great-grandchildren Jax, Mia and Jase Mussell, Macie Wohlers and Chloe Wrobleski; siblings Kenny (Kathy) Robertson, Barb (Steve) Cervenka, Cathy (Allan) Martin, Sharon Ringhofer (Jim Kaplan); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Lillian; daughter Sandra Wohlers; grandson Brian Wohlers; brothers Maurice Robertson and Curtis Robertson.

Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 45 West Broadway, Planview, MN 55964. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
