Arthur F. Eggers Jr. (Buzzy), 93, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center in Plainview. Buzzy was born January 30, 1927 in Plainview to Arthur Sr. and Elizabeth (Carpenter) Eggers. He served in the US Navy from 1944-1946. On December 27, 1952 he married Dolores Andrich in Rochester and they lived in Huron, South Dakota until moving to Plainview in 1964. Buzzy was a union brick layer until retiring in 1992. His wife Dolores died January 9, 1993. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Buzzy is survived by his son, Alan (Laurie) Eggers of Plainview and one brother, Leon Eggers of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral service is Tuesday, July 14th, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Christian Life Center in Plainview with Pastor Phil Augustine officiating. Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview.
