Bonnie Lee McCreary, 51, of Plainview, died July 28, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital-St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN. Bonnie was born August 16, 1963 in Rochester to Robert and Donna (Schoonover) Pries. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1981 and also from the St. Mary’ s Licensed Practical School of Nursing in 1982. On January 16, 2006 she married Glenn (Chuck) McCreary in Warsaw, IN. They lived in Syracuse, IN and Bonnie worked for 15 years at the Rinker Boat Company as a supervisor. In 2014 they moved back to Plainview and Bonnie was currently employed at Plainview-Elgin-Millville Schools. She loved gardening, the Minnesota Vikings, spending time with her family and her dog, Shay-la. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Chuck, of Plainview; daughter, Makayla, of LaGrange, IN; mother, Donna Pries of Rochester; brothers and sisters, Debbie (Joe) Charette of Deland, FL, Cathy Hedstrom of Chatfield, Tim (Diana) Pries of Kellogg, Kari Pries of Rochester, Pam Carleton of Rochester, Scott (Mary) Pries of Plainview, Jimmie Pries of Rochester and Jennie Pries of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Pries. Bonnie’s final act of kindness will be to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Funeral service is Monday, August 3, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church in Plainview with Rev. John Curtiss officiating. Burial is at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester. Visitation is Sunday, August 2, 5- 8 p.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
