Byrl Lloyd Zarling was born April 9, 1929 in Wabasha County, Highland Township, to William and Evelyn (Miller) Zarling.He attended 8 years at Smithfield Country School and graduated from Plainview High School in 1946. He farmed his entire life on the family farm north of Plainview. He was baptized and confirmed at the Community Presbyterian Church in Plainview. Byrl enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and all winter sports. He is survived by his brother; Robert (Char) Zarling of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, sister; Shirley Bingold of Tucson, AZ, sister-in-law; Carline Zarling of LaMesa, CA, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Kathleen Gusa, 3 brothers; Darwin, Wayne and Ralph Zarling and 2 brother-in-laws; Raymond Gusa and Daryl Bingold. The funeral service is Tuesday, July 7, 11:00 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church in Plainview with Rev. John Curtiss officiating. Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery, Plainview. Visitation is Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
