Charles Labisky

Mr. Labisky, 82, passed away Monday at St. Isidore Health Center of Greenwood Prairie in Plainview. He was born August 8, 1931 to Charles Sr. and Meta (Timm) Labisky. Charles was a happy, soft spoken hard worker. He took over the family farm SE of Plainview after his father’s death in 1970. He enjoyed his horses and used them for small jobs on the farm. He also liked auctions to pick up parts from farm machinery to fix his own. This was a gifted talent he had. Charles moved into Green Prairie Place in Plainview in 2010. His friendly personality will be greatly missed. He is survived by a sister, Luella (Don) Wallerich of Rochester, two nieces, two nephews, and a great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Harriet Benedett. Friends may call from 5-7 pm on Thursday at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
