Chuck Blevins

January 14, 1938 — April 10, 2025

Eyota

Charles (Chuck) Junior Blevins, age 87 of Eyota MN, went to be with the Lord on April 10th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN.

Charles was born January 14, 1938, in Charles City, Iowa to Charles and Tille (Spotts) Blevins. After graduating from Riceville High School, he enlisted in the military in 1957. He served in the US Air Force for four years, while being stationed in Japan. His extensive mechanical knowledge took him across the nation. From being an automotive mechanic in Chicago to programming and installing building automation systems in Minnesota. Of all his career adventures, driving bus was his passion. Chuck loved driving bus for PEM school district and working for Minnesota Coach Busses. The stories he would tell of bad weather, construction, and narrow roads were guaranteed to leave you on the edge of your seat. He loved driving people, and they loved him. Chuck was a devoted Christian and loved praising the Lord.

When Chuck wasn’t on the road or in church, you could find him with the love of his life, Jeanette (she survives). They would race their snowmobiles every winter and spend time every summer fishing and jet skiing on Rainy Lake. They spent their day to day together on their small farm outside of Eyota. Together they enjoyed raising cows, horses, chickens, and the day-to-day farm life.

Along with his loving wife of 35 years, Chuck is survived by his two children: Brian (Alix) Blevins and Christine Blevins.

His three stepchildren: Sheri (Jeff) Day of Colfax, Illinois, Michael (Kaila) Fish of Eyota, Minnesota, and Mary (Jesse) Teed of Adams, Minnesota.

Fourteen Grandchildren: Baker, Brady, Kelsey, Shawncey, Malachi, Jonah, Isaiah, Miriam, Gideon, Lucas, Esther, Dustin, Morgan, Carter.

Two Great Grandchildren; Connor and Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Steven.
