Theilman. Denny was born July 9, 1951 in Beaver, MN, Winona County to Floyd and Arlene (Pugh) Ball. He grew up in Plainview and attended Plainview High School. On February 26, 1972 he married Margaret McLaughlin at the Church of Christ in Dennis (Denny) Gary Ball, 65, died Monday, September 5, 2016, at his home in rural Plainview. They lived in Plainview until 1982 and then moved to their current residence in rural Theilman. Denny worked for Bob Haley and then the city of Plainview until his retirement. He loved to fish, hunt, trap, travel, ride his four wheeler and spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Margaret; three children, Travis (Becky) Ball of St. Charles, Nikki (Jay) Andrist of Kasson and Trevor (Amber) Ball of Missouri; eight grandchildren, Katlyn, Cody, Andrea and Jacy Ball, Dalton, Devan and Drake Andrist and Ethan Ball; three step-grandchildren, Spencer Kooyman and Daysia and Ryli Stangler; and one sister, Donna (Owen) Tlougan of Plainview. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, LeRoy, Kenneth and Donald and one sister Paulett. Funeral service is Friday, September 9, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview with Deacon John Destazio officiating. Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview. Visitation is Thursday 5-8 p.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
