2015. Edward James Tentis was born May 17, 1955 in Wabasha, to John and Teresa (Kane) Tentis. He graduated from Elgin-Millville High School in 1973. On July 21, 1973 he married Peggy Schnell at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview. They later divorced. Ed farmed on the family farm in rural Elgin. He was a member of St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview. Ed enjoyed tractor pulls, hunting, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Ed is survived by his children; Trisha (Roger) Rahman , Jason (Carla) Tentis and Greg Tentis all of Plainview; grandchildren; Carter Meyers, Claire & Cate Rahman, Emma, Collin and Elise Tentis, Madison, Hunter and Taylor Tentis; one brother, Paul (Lynette) Tentis of Elgin and two sisters; Barb (Matt) Sveen of Plainview and Jane (Steve) Nienow of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother; Mark Funeral Mass is Thursday, July 2, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview with Father William Becker officiating. Burial is at the St. Joachim’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
