and Agnes (Loechler) Meyer. She attended school in Wabasha and graduated from St. Felix High School in 1946.She then attended the Minnesota School of Wabasha. On June 6, 1949, she married Stanley Klavetter at St. Agnes Catholic church in Wabasha. They farmed S.E. of Plainview. She was a longtime homemaker and was well known for her baking and cooking. Eleanor was a longtime member of St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview, the Catholic Daughters, and taught CCD classes. She enjoyed gardening, canning, her flower gardens and spending time with family. She had a strong faith and love for family. She is survived by seven children, Jerry Klavetter (Shirley Evans) of Plainview, Sharon (Al) Swayze of Rochester, Jim (Deb) Klavetter of Eyota, Ron (Jean) Klavetter of Plainview, Keith (Ginger) Klavetter of Plainview, Brenda (Glenn) Thompson of Kellogg and Steve Klavetter of Plainview, 18 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marietta Kohn and Lois Loechler of Wabasha and Janice (Jerry) Owen of Stewartville, and sister- in-law, Shirley Loechler of Wabasha. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Stanley; 3 brothers, Norman, Eugene and Albert Jr. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 25, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview with Father William Becker officiating. Burial will be at the St. Felix Catholic Cemetery in Wabasha. Visitation is Sunday, November 24, 4: 00- 7:00 p.m. at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
