Elinor was born April 23, 1931 in Winona to Glenn and Evelyn (Ketchum) Palmer.
On October 6, 1949 she married Joseph L. Mueller at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in
Lakeside Foods in Plainview and Camera Art in Lewiston. In 1977 they moved into St.
Charles. Joe passed away April 23, 2003.
Elinor was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Elba. She was active in the Rosary
Society and Quincy Homemakers. She enjoyed being outdoors, horseback riding,
motorcycling, gardening, reading and traveling.
She is survived by her children, David (Pam) Mueller of Eyota, Donald (Sharon) Mueller of
St. Charles, Lavonne (Ken) Freerksen of Kasson, Gerald (Cheryl) Mueller of St. Charles,
Marvin (Kim) Mueller of LaCrosse, WI ,Kevin (Julie) Mueller of Rochester, Sue (Dean)
Todd of Altura; 26 Grandchildren, 46 Great-Grandchildren, 2 brothers, Glenn (Marge)
Palmer of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Gene (Glenda) Palmer of Apollo Beach, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral Mass is Saturday, October 12, 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Elba with
Father Kurt Farrell officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday 5-8 p.m.
at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and 1 hour prior to the service at the
church on Saturday.
