Betty was born March 20, 1943 in Winona, MN to Oliver and Florence (Stephens)
Becker. On February 4, 1961 she married Richard Groski in Lewiston, MN. In 1962
life bartending in Plainview, Rochester and Eyota. She enjoyed camping, fishing, time
with her family, baking and going to the casino.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Eyota; children, Pamela Groski-Ebling of
Byron, Ronald (Carilee) of Fillmore, Michael (Jennifer) of Chatfield, David (Jeanne) of
Stewartville, Scott of Eyota and James (Jenniffer) of Rochester; 18 grandchildren, 12
great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, William (Gladys) Becker of Wilson, Rose
Gilbertson of Cloquet, Gerald Becker of Eyota, Richard Becker of Stagecoach,
Nevada and Judy Timm of Jackson, CA.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Robert, 1 granddaughter,
Keegan, and mother and father-in-law, Leonard and Luci Groski.
Funeral service is Saturday, December 14, 11 a.m. at the Holy Redeemer Catholic
Church in Eyota with Father Kurt Farrell officiating. Burial is at the Holy Redeemer
Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 5-8 p.m. at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home
in Eyota and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
