Ethel E. Boyd, 73, died Saturday, December 16 at Rochester Health Services East. Ethel was born August 24, 1944 in Plainview to Russell and Elenora (McGrath) Boyd. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1962. Ethel lived her entire adult life in Rochester working numerous jobs. She enjoyed old western movies, music, talent shows and playing bingo. She is survived by her siblings; Edward (Carol) Boyd of Auburndale, FL, LaVerne (Dorothy) Boyd of Plainview, Donald (Ann) Boyd of Rochester, Robert (Sharon) Boyd of Mechanicsville, IA, and Russell C. Boyd of Rochester; many nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Elenora and a brother, William Boyd. Funeral Mass is Wednesday, December 20, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Plainview with Father William Becker officiating. Burial is at St. Joachim’s Catholic Cemetery.
