George Edward Mueller of Plainview, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 17, 2019, at the wonderful age of 92. He is survived by his five children: Steve (Patricia), Louann (Scott Carpenter), Carol (Sean Leavitt), Paul, Leonard (Mary Rose); nine grandchildren: Brandon (Kelly), Courtney (Leonard); Ashleigh, Matthew (Steve); Nathan, Nicholas, Emily (Louann); Alexander, McKinley (Carol) and great grandchildren Rylie and Rowan Leo (Brandon). He is also survived by four siblings, Ted Mueller, Louis Mueller, Edith Holm and Clara Burt. George was preceded in death by his wife (Carlene) of 55 years, his parents (Leo & Lucy Mueller), and six siblings: Leora, Cletus, Sister Bona, Arthur (Nick), James, and Marlene (Bets). As George loved the Memorial Day holiday, there will be a Visitation on Monday, May 27 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview, MN (57 3rd St. SW). Funeral Mass will be held at St Joachim Catholic Church in Plainview on May 28th at 11:00 am with Father William Becker officiating. A second visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at the church. Internment with military honors at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Elba following Mass. Schad & Zabel Funeral Home, Plainview.
