Grace May Bartz, 82, of Plainview, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St.
Isidore Health Care Center in Plainview.
Grace was born February 6, 1934 in Wabasha County. She was adopted as
a child by Albert and Linda Labisky. She was raised on a farm SE of
Plainview and attended Woodland Country School and graduated from
Plainview High School in 1953. On June 21, 1958 she married Dale H. Bartz
at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plainview, and they lived in Plainview. Dale
died January 29, 2005. Grace was a Homemaker and raised three children.
She is survived by her sons; Charles (Heidi) Bartz and Lyle Bartz, both of
Plainview, grandchildren; Darren, Baihly and Amanda Bartz, Ryan (Chloe),
Heath and Lauren Ihrke, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Robert.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 1, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran
Church in Plainview with Rev. Phil Augustine officiating. Burial is at the
Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview. Visitation is Tuesday, one hour prior to
the service at the church.
