Rose was born November 16, 1944 in Qunicy Township to Eugene and Minnie
(Bedtka) Ball. She graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1962. She then
worked at Crenlo in Rochester. On March 9, 1968 she married Donald Walch in St.
Charles. They farmed 4 years near Elba and then 12 years East of Plainview. In 1989
they bought a farm in Viola Township, where they currently live. Rose enjoyed her
cats, feeding the birds and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Donald of Eyota.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard.
Funeral service is Thursday, November 14, 11 a.m. at the Schad & Zabel Funeral
Home in Plainview with Rev. Charles Coggins officiating. Burial will be at the Little
Valley Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, 9:30 a.m. till the time of the service at the
funeral home.
