Mrs. Clifford Keller, 102, died Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center in Plainview. Helen Adella Keller was born June 24, 1917 in Elgin, MN to Karl and Lillian (Tradup) Ebling. She attended Elgin Parochial School. On February 28, 1949 she married Clifford Keller in Dodge Center, MN. Helen was a homemaker for many years. The couple resided in the Dodge Center area, until 1959 when they moved to Plainview. Mrs. Keller went to work at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester in 1965 in the housekeeping department until her retirement in 1982. Her husband Clifford died May 6, 1978. Helen was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview. She enjoyed quilting, puzzles and traveling. Helen is survived by her two children; Kathryn (Sam) Evans of Plainview and Charles (Nancy) Keller of Rochester; 5 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren and 1 sister, Ida Brakke of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son Phillip, 2 brothers, Carl “Fritz” Ebling and Charles Ebling. A private graveside service will be Thursday, April 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center. Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview is assisting the family with the arrangements.
