James Michael Frederick

James Michael Frederick was born January 31, 1945 in Rochester, MN to Howard and Cora (Neumann) Frederick. He graduated from St. Charles High School and then attended Business School at the University of Minnesota. He worked for many years at HCC in Mendota, IL. On April 20, 1990 he married Rae Rodefer in Mendota. In 1998 they moved back to St. Charles, MN where they farmed. James was very involved with the Whitewater watershed project. He is survived by his wife, Rae of St. Charles; 2 step-children, Keith Berger of St. Charles, MN and Kim Berger of Plainview, MN; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Joshua Berger; two brothers, David (Rita) Frederick of Downey, CA and William (Brenda) Frederick of Rochester, MN; two sisters, Dr. Mary (Allan Zelicoff) Frederick of St. Louis, MO and Lisa (Darrel) Schroeder of Rochester, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Tom. Memorial service will be Friday, December 12, 11:00 a.m. at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview.
