Jeremy Lee Dahl

Jeremy Lee Dahl, 44, of Chatfield, passed away Tuesday September 13, 2022, at home.

Jeremy was born May 23, 1978, in Rochester to LouAnn (Dahl) Arends and Dale Scherger.  He worked at various construction jobs including JP Schneider, Acme Barricades.  He was recently hired full-time at Strongwell in Chatfield.

Jeremy married Katherine Caves and later divorced.

Jeremy loved spending time with family and traveling to Florida, he found peace at the beach playing in the waves and listening to the ocean.  Jeremy enjoyed shooting pool, watching sports and listening to music.  Jeremy’s most treasured moments was time with his children and they were his greatest joy and strength.

Jeremy had a captivating smile and his warmth has touched the hearts of many people.  No matter where he went it was easy for him to find a new friend.  He put smiles on many faces and was always there for anyone that needed a listening ear.

Jeremy is survived by his mother LouAnn (Steve) Arends, father Dale (Stacie) Scherger, children Gavin Dahl, Garret Dahl, London Dahl, Dacia Bertschinger, brothers Jared, Kenny (Christa), Justin (India), sister Hannah (Jackson), stepbrother-brother Monte (Brooke), special friend Stacy Davis also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.  He was preceded in death by his maternal/paternal grandparents, a brother Jeff, and aunt Cheryl.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, September 21, 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Plainview with Pastor Bob Blanshan officiating. Burial will take place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at a future date.

There will be a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday, September 21, 2002.

Jeremy’s family would like to thank friends and family for all the condolences, support and friendship.
