Kim “ Kimmer “ A. Seefeldt, 59, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Rochester, St. Mary’s Campus, following a lengthy illness with cancer. Kim, a lifetime resident of Plainview, was born January 30, 1958 at Wabasha, MN to Charles and Frieda (Simonovski) Seefeldt. He attended Plainview High School. Kim then served in the U.S. military. Most recently he had been employed by Lakeside Foods in Plainview and Bouquet Enterprises in Kellogg. Kim was a member of the Sons of the Plainview American Legion. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf and reading the newspaper. He is survived by one brother, Henry Seefeldt of Lynn Haven, FL.; four sisters, LaDonna (Allan) Camrud of Osceola, WI, LaVonne (Dick) Bartz of Waseca, Charlene Bueltel of Blaine and Sally (Tim) Schmulske of Glencoe; and special friend Kathy Stiehl of St. Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Mandi Jo and two brothers, Gerald and Robert. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2:00 pm at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview with Mr. Bill Wohlers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
