Kyle Potter

Kyle Potter, 44, of Red Wing and formerly of Eyota, died Friday, August 31st at Mayo Clinic Hospital-St. Mary’s Campus. Kyle was born May 15, 1974 in Rochester to Robert and LaVonne (Selke) Potter. He was raised in Eyota and graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1993. He had worked at Hy-Vee and School Age Child Care in Rochester. Kyle enjoyed going to the Comedy Club, spending time with his friends and being manager of his brother’s softball teams. He was an avid Vikings, Twins and Gophers fan. Special thanks to the staff and nurses at St. Mary’s and Red Wing Health Care. He is survived by his father Bob (Marge) Potter of Eyota; 2 brothers, Kevin (Terry) Potter of Eyota and Matthew (Cari) Potter of Rochester; niece Jessica and nephews Morgan and Mason. He was preceded in death by his mother LaVonne, grand parents Doris and Faye Potter and Agnes and Leon Selke. Memorial Service will be Friday, September 7th, 6:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Eyota with Pastor Jonathan Vollrath officiating. Visitation is Friday, 4:30 p.m. till the time of the service at the church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Schad & Zabel Funeral Home, Eyota Chapel.
