Loren Charles Bierbaum

Isidore Health Center of Greenwood Prairie in Plainview. Loren Charles Bierbaum was born May 19, 1936 in Rochester to Albert and Cora (Schellhammer) Bierbaum. He graduated from Eyota High School in 1954. Loren married Beverly Howard and they were later divorced. He then married Betty Jo Nesbitt and she died on May 6, 2010. Loren was a lifetime farmer in the Eyota area with a passion for his Brown Swiss Cattle. He showed them at the County and State Fairs. After retiring from farming, he raised miniature horses. He loved the company of his little dogs. Loren enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Twins and horse racing. He is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Glenn) Fickett of Tempe, AZ., Wendy (Tim) Buboltz of Tinley Park, IL., and Kathy (Eric) Olson of Grantsburg, WI.; grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Nicole Fickett, Trevor Buboltz, Cora and Mark Olson; two step-daughters, Kathy (Paul) Erdman of Rochester and Geri Barrett of Woodbury, MN.; step-grandson, Michael Erdman. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, Earl, Harold and Duane Bierbaum and two sisters, Ruth Kolsrud and Lorraine Bush. Funeral service is Sunday, March 15, 2:00 pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Eyota with Rev. Jonathan Vollrath officiating. Burial is at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Viola Township.
