Luke Pille

Luke Pille, 53, of Plainview passed away unexpectedly in Willis, Texas on October 5th. Luke was born on November 30, 1964 to Reicher “Rick” and Beverly (Hardtke) Pille. He was raised in Plainview, graduating from Plainview High School in 1983. Luke was currently an owner operator contracted with Valley Systems out of Chatfield. He started his trucking career in the 80’s with Tom Zabel. He then went to work for Putzier Trucking before moving on to Valley Systems. Being an over the road truck driver Luke always said he didn’t need to go away on vacation because he could see all the sights while he was driving. Luke enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Bev Pille of Plainview; brother, Lane Pille of Sartell, MN; 2 sisters, Laura (Scot) Penn of Cisco, TX and Lenora Pille of Plainview; nephew Jerad and nieces Amber, Anna and Sarah; and special friend Julie Goldtrap. He was preceded in death by his father Rick; grandparents Don and Maraget Pille, Ralph and Gertrude Hardtke and Evelyn Weathers; and sister-in-law, Pamela Pille.
