Mrs. Allen, 90 died, surrounded by her family, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, MN. She was born October 3, 1924 in Big Stone City, South Dakota and after moving to Minnesota as a young child, graduated from Chatfield High School. On September 2, 1950, she married Raymond Schnell. They lived in Eyota until Ray passed away in 1983. Together, they raised three children, farmed for many years and enjoyed traveling. On October 3, 1989, she married Howard Allen. Together, they enjoyed caring for their animals, boating and fishing, gardening and spending time with their grand and great-grandchildren. Howard passed away in 2009. Survivors include three children: Gayle (Mike) Sagstetter, Michelle (Gary) Majerus and Misty-Mae (Charlie) Daniel, 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Muriel McCarol. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Lucille Yust, son, Louis Schnell and brother, Duane Yust. Friends and family may call one hour before services at the funeral home.
