Pamela Suzanne Mueller

Pamela (Pam) Suzanne Mueller passed away December 23rd with family by her side after a short battle with advanced dementia disease. There will be a private memorial service held at Little Valley Cemetery on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, 11:00 a.m.

Pam was born June, 30th 1948 in St. Cloud, MN to Jack and Dorothy (Kockler) Benson. Pam’s father was in the military and the family moved often. She graduated from Winona High School before attending beauty school in Winona. On August 28th, 1973 Pam was united in marriage to David Mueller. David and Pam made their home in the city of Eyota where they reside to this day.

She spent her entire career as an accomplished hairdresser in the towns of Eyota, Elgin and Plainview. Pam was always kind of feisty and if her clients didn’t like their cut, “well you got what you paid for”. Pam was a sun goddess and loved being outdoors. Her favorite place was in her backyard where she often could be seen during the summer attending to her flowers, garden or simply enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book. Pam was a four-legged furry pet lover. She made her home to foster many dogs. And often she would refer to them as the “king or queen” of the house.

Pam is survived by husband David and her daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Hennen of Avon, MN; sisters Jacqueline (Ray) Overland of Waseca, MN and Kathryn Benson (spouse) Mike Francis of Long Beach, MS. Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Jack Benson (1980) and mother Dorothy Benson Hargis (2007); sister Barbara (2005) and brother Timothy (2005)
