Patricia Ann (Heins) Harnack, 80, of Eyota, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield. Pat was born September 20, 1940 in Rochester to Melvin and Dorthea (Woodward) Harnack. She graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1958 and then attended Mankato State University. On March 28, 1959 she married Joe Heins at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. They lived and farmed north of Eyota. Pat also worked various jobs in Rochester. She and Joe later divorced. Pat is survived by her children; Terri (Bill) Broadwater of Preston and Dave (Julie) Heins of Eyota; four grandchildren, Jessica Broadwater, Tyler, Jessica (Bryce) and Connor; one great-grandson Micah and special friend Marvin Lyke of Eyota. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Melvin Harnack. The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice, Traditions of Preston and Chosen Valley Care Center. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials are preferred to one of these entities. A private funeral service will be Monday, March 15th at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Eyota with Pastor Jean Boese officiating.
