Roland Staloch

Roland Daniel Staloch, age 89, of Douglas, MN, passed away on February 23, 2026.

Roland was born on April 18, 1936, in Eyota, MN to parents Daniel and Nora (Krenzke) Staloch. He grew up in Eyota, MN. On December 20, 1958, he married Carol Wallace in Charles City, IA. The couple later moved from Eyota, MN to Rochester, MN, then to Douglas, MN. Carol passed away on September 24, 2012. Roland owned and operated S/I Staloch. Roland enjoyed gardening, and storytelling.

Roland is survived by his children Pam (Scott) Smith, Jeff (Rebecca) Staloch; 3 grandchildren Ryen (Jeanine) Staloch, Sara (Eric) Walston, Hana (Josh) Novinger; 9 great grandchildren Uriah, Mia, Gabe, June, Madelyn, Natalie, Emma, Maggie, and Micah; siblings Rita Alvarez, Daniel Staloch, Mary Nisbit.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; wife Carol; Children Rolanda, and Michael, 4 brothers, and two sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (18 2nd St SW Eyota, MN). A visitation will be an hour prior to service. Burial will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Eyota.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
