Staci Lynn Bigelow

Staci Lynn Bigelow, age 49, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27th, 2020 at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley, MN. Staci was born on January 1, 1971 in Aurora, Colorado to James and Pamela (Uthke) Bigelow. She was a 1989 graduate of Plainview High School. Staci married Daryl Silva on September 1, 2012. After graduating from high school Staci moved to the Minneapolis area and pursued a very successful career in sales. She met her husband Daryl in 1998. Together they buil t a home in Dundas, MN and lived there until moving to Medford MN in 2018. In 2015 Staci was diagnosed with mouth and throat cancer. She bravely went through radiation and chemo and became cancer free in 2017. Staci loved watching sports, music, singing, concerts, gardening and cooking. Staci was a kind and caring person with a huge heart and a genuine love for people and animals. Staci fostered many pets throughout her life and considered them her children. She will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched. Staci was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Bigelow (Uthke) of Plainview, grandparents Kenneth and Aileen Bigelow of Plainview, grandparents Marvin & Shirley Uthke of Eyota, MN. Staci is survived by her husband Daryl, father James (Terri) Bigelow, sister Traci (Joe) Halbmaier, three stepchildren, two grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew. Staci will be buried next to her mother at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview Minnesota. A celebration of life is planned for a later date. Arrangements are with Schad and Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview, MN. Memorials can be made with the Animal Humane Society of Minnesota.
