Victor Arthur Outcalt, 94 of Dover died Wednesday, July 17, at Seasons Hospice House in Rochester. Victor was born May 3, 1925 in Orion Township to Arthur and Ella (Fimon) Outcalt. He attended country school and then farmed with his father. On October 16, 1946 he married Jane Lundt. Victor and Jane farmed north of Dover. He also owned and operated Dover Plumbing until his retirement in 1973. Victor enjoyed hunting and fishing and tending to his wife Jane’s flowers. They spent the summer months on Lake Vermillion in northern Minnesota and the winter months in Georgia. His wife Jane died June 2, 2015. He is survived by his children, Rose (Keith) Drury of Stewartville, Kenneth (Patricia) Outcalt of Maysbille, GA, Steven Outcalt of Dover, Sharon Mueller of Rochester, Mary (Steve) Ellringer of St. Charles, Diane (John) Outcalt of Zumbrota; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane. Memorial service will be Tuesday, July 30, 10:30 a.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Eyota with Rev. Mark Woodward officiating. Burial will be at the Orion Center Cemetery, rural Chatfield. The visitation is Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home.
